About Us

54 Years of Academic Excellence and Quality Education

Established in 1971 as a secondary agricultural school known as Alangalang Agro-Industrial School, the institution began with six faculty members and a small group of students admitted through a competitive entrance examination. After four years, it expanded its academic offerings by introducing a two-year Diploma in Agricultural Technology, followed two years later by the Bachelor of Science in Agronomy. The diploma program later became a ladderized pathway toward the Bachelor of Agricultural Technology, reflecting the institution’s commitment to accessible and progressive education. 

At present, the campus offers a diverse range of bachelor’s degree programs, including Bachelor of Science in Agriculture, Bachelor of Science in Environmental Sciences, Bachelor of Elementary Education, Bachelor of Secondary Education major in Mathematics, Bachelor of Secondary Education major in Science, and Bachelor of Science in Information Technology. The campus also serves as the Center for the College of Environmental and Agricultural Technology, strengthening its role in instruction, research, and community extension aligned with regional and national development goals.
